dont knock sleep. its such a sweet...sweet...lovely thing. the next two weeks is going to be a busy one. we are supposed to finish up the final mix in a week and a half, so this is all winding down. last night we worked on "shadows and whispers" and "une ancienne lumiere"...both tentative titles but that will work for now.
its too early. go back to sleep.

peep this genre ps: click 're-load' if deadsoil comes up...
Black Sands of the Hourglass re-released feb 17 by our good brohs at Tribunal Records. in addition to a complete remaster of the original recording, you dudes can look also get to rock a brand new song and our rendition of "You Give Love a Bad Name" and confuse the shit out any of your children-of-the-80s friends or siblings...
our eulogy records debut, titled "The Tides of Tragedy" is moving along steadily in the studio. bass tracks are finished up, and the guitars will start to come to shape in the next couple weeks. its shaping up to be a fucking serious 50 minute affair of sick shred and sick mosh, no one will be left un-stoked.
as far as rocking you in person, look for us on weekends this april/early may and then leaving in later may for some comprehensive us national tourage.
in the meantime

In other news, the record is moving along, we'll be spending another long weekend in the studio tracking more killer drums. We will be playing a 'last show for a while' show in Burke on December 19th. details TBA. this is going to be our last show before our drummer leaves for 2 months to Korea and asia minor. make sure to come out and wish him luck before he travels into the heart of the AXIS OF EVIL hahahahha just kidding!

ok, so its been forever.
the halloween show was a bust... i literally broke a leg about 1/8 of the way into the first song of the set. it was a bad scene, sorry to everyone who missed out and was bummed. i personally hold AMPLIFIC ADAM accountable for making me weak in the knees during DDEC's set. haha! fortunately, chris filled in and was able to shred the richmond and glen burnie shows, which both went over very well.
some other miscellaneous news:
-we have the huge show at St. Andrew's coming up, friday december 5th. this show will be my triumphant return to the shred since halloween among other things. expect the unexpected!
-there may be a weeklong pre-christmas december tour on the way, details TBA.
-on a funny note, you may notice one of the shadows fall dudes wearing an AOR shirt in their new video for "the idiot box" ... MTV2 t-shirt cameos are the hot shit hahaha.
- we begin the recording process in about a week and a half.
until next time.

last nights show in Danbury was a lot of fun, its unfortunate that the show ran so late because we ended up playing to about 15 people. but we met some rad dudes in CT and a few bands from TX that were a lot of fun to party with.
were staying with this chick named Steph who kicks ass...let us make food and hooked us up with beds to sleep comfy in!
tonight we rock PA with Bury Your Dead and Boy Wunder. this should be a lot of fun!

after a healthy ample amount of cash, dealing with those pesky quakers, hours at the bank, a highly illegal drive home without license plates, 2 hours in the DMV, a ton more money, MD and VA state inspections, a lot of elbow grease, 40 dollars of gas, windex, 409 and 2 bottles of armor all (to get all the suspect retard DNA off the floor and seats)...
the van of ruin is ready to bring the rock full-time.
